Master Steel fabricates and installs critical components of tower cranes for industrial purposes or construction works. We have fabricated, supplied and delivered dozens of crane components to various sectors. Tower cranes are vital in various sectors in lifting and transporting heavy materials in the site. The crane’s form depends on the load needs lifting, the size of the operation area, and the mobility required for the project.Tower cranes that do not require high strength are manufactured with carbon steel, which contains carbon ranging from less than 0.015% up to more than 0.5%. Meanwhile, cranes that are meant to lift heavy objects are made with high-strength low-alloy or HSLA steel, which has 0.05% to 0.25% of carbon content and varying amounts of alloying elements depending on the mechanical property requirements. Each component of the crane is assembled by welding or bolting, either at the factory or on site. The completed crane is then tested to ensure it is structurally sound to operate. It is also tested with weights to make sure it is stable even while carrying a heavy load. All of Master Steel’s products are manufactured in strict compliance with AS/NZS ISO 3834.
