Master Steel offers the fabrication and installation of centrifugal pump skids on firetrucks. We designed pump skids for clients such as Hydraulic Testing Certification using various sized PFC and vertical support using 50mm x 50mm box. The assembly is 1.6m long, with pumps sticking out by 300mm. The valves are placed 800mm high from the bottom of the skid, and all in all, the assembly has a maximum height of 1100mm with 2mm tolerance. The square flange on the bottom of the vertical supports is fitted with rubber anti-vibration mounts. The manifold has a total length of 70mm, including the valves and QRT fitting. We also attached anti-vibration pads under the manifold and around the clamps.
Centrifugal pumps are widely used in sewage, agriculture, petroleum, and petrochemical pumping, as well as general water supply in buildings. They are also used in the fire protection system of buildings as part of the owners, managers, and occupants’ legal obligation to ensure the safety of the property in case of fire and other emergencies.
